2024 Merrie Monarch Hula Festival: March 31st-April 6th

The renowned Merrie Monarch Hula Festival is set to once again captivate spectators in Hilo, March 31st-April 6th. This week-long celebration of traditional Hawaiian culture through hula dancing dates back to 1963 and draws thousands from around the world every spring. In 2024, attendees can look forward to another incredible display showcasing the best hālau hula (hula schools) as they compete with energy, grace and beauty. Both kahiko, the ancient hula style performed to chants and traditional instruments, as well as the ‘auana with modern hula set to contemporary music will be highlighted. 月に一度、ピアの近くのアリイ・ドライブでは、道路が閉鎖される。 コクア・カイルア・ビレッジ散策.午後1時から6時まで、通りは地元の業者やアーティストのブースでにぎわうマーケットに変身する。活気ある屋台をのぞいたり、ユニークな工芸品やお土産を買ったり、お祭りの雰囲気を楽しんでください。リードをつけたワンちゃんも大歓迎。カイルア・コナの活気に触れながら、地元企業やアーティストを支援する絶好の機会だ。

無料ハワイアン・ミュージック＆フラ・ショー

ケアウホウ・ショッピングセンターでは、毎週金曜日の午後6時から7時まで、センターの中庭で無料のハワイアン・ミュージックとフラのショーを楽しむことができる。才能あふれるミュージシャンと優雅なフラダンサーがステージに登場し、ハワイの豊かな文化遺産に浸ることができる。毎週開催されるこのイベントは、伝統的なハワイアン・ミュージックとダンスの美しさと芸術性を体験できる素晴らしい機会だ。

ホルアロアのファースト・フライデー・アフター・ダーク

毎月第一金曜日、趣のあるホルアロア村はブロック・パーティーで活気づく。午後5時30分から8時30分まで、地元の人々や観光客が集まり、町のアートギャラリーやブティックを探検し、生演奏を聴き、グルメな "grab and go "フードに舌鼓を打つ。このお祭りのようなイベントは、地域の温かいもてなしを楽しみながら、地元のアートやカルチャーシーンに浸る素晴らしい方法だ。

毎週金曜日の午後4時から8時まで、あらゆる味覚を満足させるミニ・フードトラック・フェスティバルが開催される。ターゲット・コナの駐車場では、バーベキュー、メキシカンフード、タイ料理、デザート、そしてもちろん美味しいコーヒーなど、家族みんなで楽しむことができる！
