What is included in your price quote?
Your all-inclusive quote is given in U.S. dollars, and includes:
- Base rental amount in a daily or weekly rate
- Reservation fee
- Limited accidental damage waiver (covers specific types of accidental damage) or refundable security deposit
- Departure cleaning fee
- State/local taxes Hawaii (14.70%)
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4 p.m. (16:00) Hawaii Standard Time HST.
Check out is 11 a.m. (11:00) HST.
Do you have an early check-in and check-out?
Early check-in/late check-out is on an availability basis. In most cases, there will be an additional charge depending on the times you wish to arrive/depart. If you require a departure time later than 6 pm, we suggest you book an extra day. Please call within 48 hours of arrival/departure to arrange.
What items are items included in my condo?
When you rent a privately-owned vacation home or condominium, it’s as if you are a guest in someone’s home. To compliment this feeling of “Home”, we provide:
- Bed linens, bath, beach & kitchen towels, dishes, flatware, cookware and utensils
- Hair dryer, iron & ironing board
- A starter supply of commonly used items including coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper), and basic cleaning supplies.
Please Note: Starter supplies are not restocked during your stay.
Is full payment required at time of booking?
If you book 90 days or more in advance, 25% of the total cost is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival and will be automatically charged to the credit card we have on file. If payment in full is not received by Kona Vacation Rentals 90 days prior to guest arrival, your reservation may be subject to cancellation without a refund.
If you book less than 90 days in advance, full payment is required at the time of booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded less a $200.00. Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival will not be refunded.
We highly recommend Travel Insurance to help cover losses incurred when having to cancel your reservation.
How do I protect my vacation?
Optional Travel Insurance is available and recommended for added peace of mind. You can review and purchase the travel insurance through this link: Rental Guardian Travel Protection. Some options may protect non-refundable payments. Please review the full policy terms before purchasing.
Is there beach equipment?
Yes, most of our properties provide beach necessities for your convenience. For a specific item or property, please text us and we will provide details.
Is additional housekeeping available?
Yes, extra housekeeping is available during your stay for an additional cost. Let us know your needs and we’ll be happy to arrange it.

Do you offer discounts for extended stays?
